About the speaker
Gabe Kean Principal, Design Director, Belle & Wissell
For over fifteen years, Gabe has been designing and leading teams to craft participatory experiences–blending design and technology whenever possible. These experience include interactive installations, exhibitions, and touch-based experiences for organizations like The Milwaukee Art Museum, Harley-Davidson Museum, The Clyfford Still Museum, The American Battle Monuments Commission, and EMP Museum. His design work and the projects he has led have received numerous industry awards and recognition. Gabe is also the founder of Born, a non-profit organization that experiments in literary arts collaborations across mediums.
Thomas Ryun Art Director, Belle & Wissell
Thomas is a key creative force in all studio projects at Belle & Wissell as he leads the look-and-feel of these experiences and is a primary figure where design meets content. Prior to joining Belle & Wissell, Thomas led a wide range of catalogue, environmental (including signage systems), exhibition, and print design projects for leading cultural and commercial clients including the Smithsonian Institution–Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Neue Galeire New York, The Museum of Modern Art, Knoll, and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. Thomas is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design.
