Barry Greene, infectiously known as @greenethumbz, is owner and lead plant stylist of Shades of Moss Plant + Design Studio. When he’s not styling greenery throughout one’s home, he is pushing the conversation for affordable commercial real estate in the Charlotte area with his initiative, Mint City Connect. He believes with the success of this initiative, Charlotte will become a hub for black and minority-owned businesses to thrive, diversifying the city’s culinary and shopping experience.
