About the speaker
Emma Supica has stories. She taught music in public schools in Kansas and Oklahoma before moving to Nashville to work and teach in a non profit music school. As a musician, she uses the classroom as a venue for performance, to engage and connect with students through creativity and community. After choosing to leave the public school system as a teacher, Emma remains dedicated to staying involved in the betterment of public schools, music education, and informed community support for teachers and students. She is currently working with Caitlin on a series of community centered events and creative projects to keep people in the know about education.
