Monica RomanoMonica Romano moves into her second career—UX research—after nearly 18 years as a music teacher in Chicago Public Schools. During her teaching years, she learned how to build and strengthen community by facilitating group composition and improvisation for people of all ages and abilities. Her primary creative endeavor lately is fused glass art.

Kim MoldofskyKim Moldofsky is a connector, facilitator, writer, storyteller, PR professional, and survivor of suicide loss. She is also the founder of Scrappy Affirmations, where she creates welcoming spaces that foster openness, self-discovery, and the sharing of wisdom. Kim is known for organizing creative gatherings that focus on reflection, ritual, and celebration.

Arbenis Portillo — With 12 years of experience as a digital marketer and 4 years as an amateur triathlete, Arbenis Portillo was born in Venezuela, raised in Argentina, and recently became a Chicagoan. He serves as the VP of the Chicago Triathlon Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people of all fitness levels become more active and enjoy physical activity.
