Ashley Tuck of Wessex Archaeology talks about Sheffield Castle

Ashley Tuck BSc MCIfA is a research manager at Wessex Archaeology. He studied archaeology at the University of Sheffield and spent unending summers as a young man digging around the city. He has recently led excavation at Sheffield Castle and has published a range of archaeological books and articles. The Sheffield Castle project recently won Current Archaeology’s ‘Rescue Project of the Year’ award.
