Additional details

The word LOCAL finds its roots in the Late Latin localis, which derives directly from the Latin noun locus. To me, LOCAL represents the intersection of architecture and Genius Loci, viewing a site not merely as a plot of land, but as an entity with its own soul and history. On a national scale, honoring this “spirit of place” means designing in harmony with our unique landscape and climate, giving voice to local identity through a contemporary lens. My professional experience and academic research have always been guided by the search for this invisible substance that makes a project feel as though it has grown organically from the Albanian soil. I believe the success of any work lies in its ability to translate collective memory into spaces that inspire the future.
