About the speaker

Alexander Danner is a professor, writer, and podcaster whose work spans numerous industries and mediums. He has co-authored two textbooks on the history and craft of comics and graphic novels, and teaches 'Writing for Comics' at Emerson College. He is also the co-creator of the audio drama podcast "Greater Boston," which was recently named a finalist for five AudioVerse Awards. In addition to teaching 'Writing for Audio' at The New Hampshire Institute of Art, he is President of the Writers' Room of Boston, a non-profit organization providing affordable workspace to Boston-area writers.
