Adam Werner

Adam Werner is the Manager of Community Teaching Programs at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. Although it began as a way to turn his painting degree into a full-time job to support a growing family, spending the past 15+ years involved in art education has shifted Adam’s focus from making art on his own to creating collaborative art projects and programs with students, fellow educators and artists. Adam loves to visit art spaces in other cities with his wife while checking out the local coffee, food and book spots. He also likes visiting not-cities with his family to camp, hike, paddle, fish, birdwatch or practice other nature-nerdy pursuits.
