Radical's also used literally to mean the root of something, so you constantly see, when it comes to radical change that what we're advocating for, what we're fighting for, is a root change.

so prisms have reflecting refracting surfaces set at angles that separate white light into a spectrum of colors. these faceted glass teardrops bend light, make rainbows and scatter them about. they are multiplicity factories - one thing goes in and a beautiful complex array pours out. is it science? is it art? is it magic? any way you slice it, it's wonderful and I think it can help us think about how to transform a no into a yes or perhaps many yeses. thinking like a prism can split a first emotional reaction into a complex balanced response

If we are to generate new responses to the global challenges we are facing, we have to be able to open and hold space for collective, creative, and radical dreaming.

Stepping outside of the constraints and conventions of thought imposed upon us allows us to return with a fresh perspective and generate radically new ideas for new futures while reflecting critically and differently on our own past and present.

I believe that to open space for radical creativity, we must be able to bend in ways that allow us to think at the limits of the possible.

I need a good combination in a photograph, that is, aesthetics, rebellious undertone, and humor. Because a lot of topics that I talk about in my photographs actually, or discuss, are taboo topics and they're probably more easy to talk about with a little bit of humor.
