Growing up I played with everything -- paint, fabric, Bisquick, soldering irons and giant plastic trolls - no doubt an excellent design education. Formal education: a BA, major in studio art, from Gustavus Adolphus College, which also included studies with the Cleveland Institute of Art in Lacoste, France. Over 25 years in business: MUX Interior Design, which takes a consultative approach to helping people with design issues on projects of any size. I just finished posting 100 drawings in 100 days on Instagram and Facebook, and look forward to showing them at a local gallery this spring- stay tuned.
