As founder and CEO of ToPa 3D - a data visualization company based in Oregon - Paul Tice is experienced in training and implementing best practices and workflows of various 3D capture technologies for construction and design in both private and public sectors. He draws from over 20 years’ experience in CAD, GIS, and 3D imaging technologies. Working within a variety of design industries and having published several articles in industry trade magazines, Paul has appeared in the Oregon Business Journal, The Daily Journal of Commerce, The Eastern Oregonian, and SparPoint News with his work on 3D historical preservation. Additionally, Tice has won the international ‘Be Inspired’ award from Bentley Systems, Inc. in Amsterdam, Netherlands for his work with 3D laser scan technology and has presented at numerous conferences on 3D laser scanning and photogrammetric workflows. Tice continues to teach workshops abroad on the subject of 3D technology.
