From humble origins as an out-of-place SEO analyst, Tim Nelson has blazed his own creative trail as a senior-level copywriter, content marketer, and journalist on a constant quest to expand his comfort zone. He's drafted high-visibility headlines on Apple.com, written the bulk of a massive, interactive homepage takeover for Shopify, and extensive content strategy development and execution for a Series B-funded personal training startup. His byline has appeared alongside hundreds of interview-, research-, and reporting-based stories for Architectural Digest, Food & Wine, and more. After one too many runs on the tech copywriting treadmill, Tim realized that simply selling his time to work on projects with no real value outside of a board room had been limiting his potential for years. Now, he's ready to finally leverage his passion and take pride in work that shapes copywriting and creative strategy on behalf of anyone striving to make the world a less-bad (or at least more interesting) place.
