I am the Managing Director and founder of Tib Tib House of Tea, a social enterprise and beverage company. I am really passionate about helping displaced youth and victims of human smuggling. I used to work for NPR, The Genteel, and ABC, helping cover the 2012 electoral campaigns and NY Fashion Week. I recieved my Master's in Journalism from Columbia University. Currently, I also work with the NYC Urban Debate League helping kids across New York City gain public speaking skills. I love Nas, Beyoncé, The Wire, Rumi, and Coming to America. Oprah and Gayle King are my aunties (in my head).
