In October I started building a start-up called Webpgr (sounds like web pager). In a Team of 3 we create a HTML5 based replacement for flash. With our platform you can create web sites in a graphics editor like interface (drag & drop, wysiwyg, styles, toolbar, ...). Your pages zoom and rotate when a visitor goes from one sub page to another. But you are still free to add code for animations or add meta tags for professional SEO optimization. My co-founder and me had the idea for webpgr when we were creating bioinformatic applications for data management and biochemical network visualizations at Humboldt University. Building web apps is my passion and I consider myself quite lucky to have the chance to be part of this project.

Growing up in Berlin, art was always part of my life and I always did art on the side. With my current project I am getting deeper into visual art and interface design and I realize that there is so much to learn.
