I am a multidisciplinary artist, experience designer, curator, and cultural producer based in Toronto. I love creating immersive experiences that are poignant and awe-inspiring in order to reconnect people with our shared humanity. My installations and activations are designed to help us recognize bits of ourselves in the stories of others and to reacquaint ourselves with the abiding magic of being alive and in community. My practice is ever-expanding and I love to use theatre, storytelling, dance, archives, curiosity and play as entry points to shared questions and social discovery.
One of my core projects is Camp Reset where I serve as Director of Programming. Camp Reset, an annual digital detox weekend retreat for adults that explores justice, rest, and play to create a one-of-a-kind-experience at the intersection of wellness and whimsy.
Recently I was also a featured presenter at Provocations Ideas Festival with an vivid activation called DanceGPT which explored the promise and perils of AI and our shared digital future.
And in another part of my expansive practice, I just received an award from The Burlesque Hall of Fame for my decades of profound international impact in the form including performance artistry, education, festival development, world touring, and expansion of both media coverage and grant funding in that field.
