Eva has a BA in English and a MA in Immigration. Her MRP looks at the role of the arts in settlement and asks, what role do creative institutions have in supporting newcomer integration? Is there opportunity for integrating arts based research into policy discourse? Eva argues arts based research offers opportunity for horizontal methodologies which recognize alternative epistemologies, and that creative institutions can support integrating lived experience as a valid form of knowledge in policy development. When she's not working on her MRP, Eva spends her time as a Research and Program Analyst at a non-profit arts organization, exploring the city by bike, or being a proud feminist killjoy.
