I am a seasoned professional designer, educator, and director. As a designer, I have collaborated with large and small teams to create unique lines for the global market. Within a diverse community of colleagues in the US and internationally, I have defined program delivery and built relationships with the larger community through lectures, and exhibits. As a lead coordinator for large events in the US, I have worked in partnership with local and state-wide agencies to create dynamic community-wide site-specific experiences. Currently, the artwork I am creating is provoked by the growing threat of forest fires. The issues I’m considering speak of intangible losses like those of simple connection and love of the land, one’s interaction and culture inherently entwined with it.
