Bronte Howell

I guess i am a maker and hacker at heart. As an artist and self taught jeweller I love any opportunity to be creative. I am currently bending old found silver objects into beautiful hand turned pieces of artistic jewellery and love sketching on my iPhone and iPad experimenting with digital art. I am passionate about STEAM. My dream is to set up local and community ‘makerlabs’ to give the opportunity for all ages to experience a STEAM environment where budding scientists and engineers can have the courage to imagine, design and create along side designers and artists sharing their passion and knowledge in creating their futures. I currently work as Director of Communications and Development at Preshil and setting up our own 'Makerlab' starting with our new 3D printer and lots of collected bits.
