Armanda Vilar was born in 1971 in Póvoa de Varzim. She graduated in design and communication from the University of 'Belas Artes' in Lisbon. She has worked for: Risco, as a project designer and consultant; for the Portuguese design company Novodesign; 37 Design; +2 Designers; and as a freelancer. She lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.
