I was born and raised in Texas, but I currently live in San Diego County California with my husband and our two cats. I've been creative my whole life. I started acting when I was 8 years old in local community theater in Texas. I went to drama school in Los Angeles right after high school, but I got more into photography in the late 2000s. I got my degree in Digital Photography, and I've photographed weddings, portraits, events, products, and food. I currently work as a freelance food photographer and recipe developer for bloggers.

Celebrity: Stephen Sondheim. When Merrily We Roll Along was a flop back in the early 80s, he wanted to give up and was losing his passion for composing. But if he had, we wouldn't have Sunday in the Park with George or Into the Woods. He found a new partner who inspired him to start working again and took a different approach to how he created his next show. I feel like giving up all the time, but remembering his story, helps me keep going.

Acting. I went to drama school in Los Angeles right after high school, but I was too young to understand how many connections you need to be successful. I took some acting classes at a local community college, got a lead role in a musical and won an award at the end of the season. It was nice to see that I could still have a shot at it 20 years after graduating from drama school.
