TL;DR - We are looking for a new CreativeMornings team! Are you in?
Long story - Five years. At the same time, it feels like yesterday and ages ago.

Five years ago, I and my friends took over CreativeMornings Prague initiative - a free monthly breakfast lecture series designed for creative communities.

During those 1800 days, we managed to organise 34 events in 34 different places all over Prague. We hosted over 2000 individual participants, many of them regularly (core attendees rule!), and served countless cups of coffee and countless more servings of delicious breakfasts. The core team consisted of 5-7 people (in one extreme case, due to illness and holidays, we were able to manage the morning in just 3 of us) and what drove us forward was the sheer energy from our community and the passion of connecting people while discovering something new about the world around us. 

Several moments I like to recall myself the most - amazing talk about human-centred design for funerals while being at the cemetery, eating bars from crickets while listening to space exploration at Prague Planetarium, having to take and place a chair on the roof of the Trade Fair Palace of National Gallery while listening to a story of somehow unintentionally building a furniture restoration community… And many many more similar amazing situations.

During those 5 years, we have become completely different people. We changed many occupations and clients, babies were born, addresses changed, and we had our major ups and downs. Be we managed everything together, even though we almost didn’t know each other at the beginning. 

But every good story has to end one day. Ours are about to end soon.

Hopefully not the story of our friendship, but a story of us being organisers of CreativeMornings. And we want to hand this shared child of ours into good hands.

That is why we are looking for a new team. Either individuals or a group of interested people.

I cannot stress this out properly - this is an amazing opportunity for anyone, who wants to express him/herself. The playground is huge and the willingness of people around us to support almost every crazy idea still surprises me. The brand, community, energy, international support and more are here to take, with love in the hearth, and to do it your way, writing a new chapter of this amazing story.
