On Friday, April 1, Cooper Lambla of the U.S. National Whitewater Center will speak to us at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art on the theme of “Risk” … and as you can see, he’s pretty qualified to do so.

Wanna’ get excited about our meeting on April 1? Think about this – we’ll be meeting at the amazing Bechtler Museum of Modern Art. They’ve graciously offered to be our hosts AND … wait for it … to give everyone who attends our meeting a sneak peak of their new exhibit, “The House That Modernism Built” at 10am: http://bechtler.org/Collection/House-that-modernism-built

Which idea would best invigorate Charlotte?:

The finalists for the Knight Foundation Cities Challenge were announced today. Charlotte has TEN finalists and there are some amazing, creative ideas to better our community. We’re proud to announce that among them, our own Tim Miner and Matt Olin, were selected for their “Queen City Quiz Show” idea – a mobile quiz show designed to entertain and share some fun and some important discussion about the Queen City. More to come. Wish ‘em luck!
