To celebrate nine different chapters coming together for March’s event, we asked a community member from each location to create an illustration based on the theme of #CMripple. Here are the wonderful pieces in all their glory and you can read more about each of the artists in our latest blog post (link in bio).

Sheffield @richwells is a designer, illustrator and maker. Rich makes moving collages that explore place and perspective, inspired by the green spaces in and around Sheffield.

London @jenniferahayashi is an energetic, colourful conceptual designer, art director and illustrator based in London. She has over 10 years of experience working across the FMCG, entertainment and fashion industry. By day, she works at We Are Social as Senior Designer, by hustle, she works on freelance creative projects and illustrations for clients.

Lemington Spa @emilykayeillustration is a freelance illustrator from Leamington Spa. She turns her drawings into illustrations, comics and murals and enjoys creating characters to celebrate the quirkiness and imperfections in everyday life.

Glasgow @nadin0saur is a local designer and illustrator from Glasgow and has created this breath-taking interpretation of Ripple that just draws you in.

Edinburgh @m_r_peet is a freelance illustrator from Edinburgh. Matt mainly focuses on portraits these days and you may recognise his work from CreativeMornings Edinburgh’s speaker illustrations that he carefully crafts each month.

Derby @lovelalalanduk is a smiler, daydreamer and doodler from Derby. Her indie biz Love Lalaland is a cute and colourful world, where everything is possible! A place of rainbowtastic designs and happy things made with positive pink power to spread good vibes and #LalalandLove.

Bristol Next up is this interpretation of Ripple by Ellie and our friends at CreativeMornings Bristol.

Belfast Check out this doozy from our very own @jamesashestudio. James is a visual artist based in Belfast. His work uses the mediums of illustration, typography, risograph and screenprinting. Predominate themes in his work include politics, LGBT rights, architecture and built heritage. He has exhibited locally as part of groups and within collections in the Ulster Museum, and has had recent solo exhibitions with The Black Box and Framewerk Gallery.

Cardiff Cardiff we asked @claralewisillustration to create this awesome piece. Carla is an illustrator from South Africa who now lives in Cardiff.
