We are soooooo very pleased to announce our own symbol of Resilience: Flavius Ilioni-Loga and his valuable community work and love for people! We are very humbled by his work and here to support him in spreading the word around Romania of the greatness he achieves, no matter the conditions!
Timișoara’s creative communities have always been supported by Flex - Romania with great support and care for solutions cross-industries.
In times like this, our collective resilience has been tested and all 4 Romanian CreativeMornings chapters have decided to keep on coming together!
☕ Flavius Ilioni-Loga ☕ Flavius is a journalism and social services major, focusing for the past years on refugees integration and the complex reality around that in Romania. Since 2012 he’s been working assisting refugees requisition asylum and residents in the state centers. Since 2017, he organizes Timisoara Refugee Art Festival (TRAF) - the first cultural event of this kind with and about refugees. In 2020 he went back to grassroot generating impact, founding LOGS Association - a Social Initiative Group - acting in education, migration and preventing the human trafficking practices. Since 27th of November 2020, due to the refugee crisis happening in Timisoara, Flavius and his team, supported by the local communities, have developed an humanitarian support mechanism assisting over 5000 migrants with food, medicine, blankets and sleeping bags, housing them temporarily and granting them access to hygiene facilities.
Moreover, the assistance in counselling and paperwork as well as the very simple human support have made a world of difference.
📅 Join us, on the 28th of May, at 9:00 AM EET, where the four Romanian local chapters: CreativeMornings Bucharest, CreativeMornings Cluj, CreativeMornings Iasi and yours CreativeMornings Timisoara will re-unite and four wonderful guest speakers will explore the global theme of “Resilient”.
