About the speaker
If you have walked around Aarhus the last couple of years, there is a good chance you have seen a glimpse of Ulriks art. From his self-promotion project that left dozens of posters of himself pasted up in the city, to his dropped art pieces and his ever-growing gang of back-patch carriers. Ulrik is steadily putting his mark on Aarhus. Ulrik Myrtue: “I decided if I was going to go for the artist life I had to bring in all of the man behind the works and form a personalized approach”. An artist in a more holistic sence. “I don’t see it as a profession or a temporary job. This is how I am and I want to show many facets of me to compliment my works. I need to bring in all of my self and be vulnerable to become the artist that I am searching for”.
