About the speaker

Tim Yeadon is Principal & Creative Director at Clyde Golden, an email marketing agency in Seattle. And while he spends a lot of his time and energy building an expert services firm, Tim is more likely to tell you about Ed, or Big Food, or Haverchuck, which are the names of a few of the wooden boats he's built.

Both passions - entrepreneurship and wooden boatbuilding - take up a lot of Tim's cognitive energy, and that's by design, as they're pretty much his favorite things. By alternating between the two worlds, each gives him the space to think, to plan, and to decide which of the problems and issues he encounters are actually worth trying to solve.

Before starting Clyde Golden in 2016, Tim was a journalist in Florida and North Carolina, a freelance copywriter, and later a creative director at an agency where he led lifecycle email marketing campaigns for Verizon, REI, Intuit, Realtor.com, and Safeway.

His favorite boatbuilding lumber is Port Orford Cedar.
