His dedication to his craft has not gone unnoticed; he was honored in October 2016 by GQ magazine for his exceptional fashion work with Career Gear Houston/New York and again in October 2018 for his on-site stylist work with a non-profit organization for men.

Growing up creative, thanks to his grandmother's influence, Tim learned to play the piano, sew, crochet, garden, and even do construction. Despite facing a severe speech impediment as a child, which turned him into a great listener, Tim has emerged as a respected voice in fashion.
