Tibor Varády

Tibor Varady (36) is a barista and owner of Espresso Embassy a specialty coffee shop in Budapest. Tibor, a former environmental lawyer left his previous career at the age of 30 to pursue that dream that so many of us have: "it would be nice to have a cute coffee shop". His first shop was a small corner in a design shop, yet it ended up No 1 on Tripadvisor's Budapest restaurant list. Then he moved on to open Espresso Embassy, a standalone shop, which is held as one of the prime coffee destinations in Hungary. In the meantime Tibor earned high positions on different coffee related world championships, and recently started judging championships, as well consulting other cafés, restaurants, hotels.
