In the last years, I have happily embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure that lives on the intersection of storytelling, personal publishing and digital print. The outcome is Book-à-Porter, a unique atelier of biographical storytelling where we make everyone feel extraordinarily special by helping them capture their life stories in sophisticated books.
About this FieldTrip
In this fun and interactive FieldTrip, we will guide you through an exciting inward journey that will ignite your memories in unexpected ways.
Our lives are too beautiful not to be told. Our stories are too exciting not to fill the pages of a book. Right? But how can we start? What shall we write? A blank page can be scary for everyone. Even more so if it is the first page of OUR life story.
No worries: we can help! At Book-à-Porter we have created a storytelling formula that allows everyone to “capture” memories, emotions, anecdotes, and put them down in black and white by following an agile storyboard made of “narrative capsules”.
✨WHAT TO EXPECT
✔️ Intro. We will introduce our agile and stress-free biographical method, a powerful tool of self-discovery and self-narration.✔️ Be present. We will set the mood with a simple breathing exercise for relaxation.
✔️ Connect with your memories. Once the door to your inner self is open, we will guide you through your life story and will help you connect with your most valuable memories.
✔️ Ignite writing. Let the narrative energy flow through our narrative capsules. Cast new light on the most precious moments of your life.
✔️ Share. If you feel like it, share your observations, emotions and all the ideas that this workshop has stirred up.
✔️ Bring: A notepad and a pen, your computer, your journal… as long as you can jot down your ideas, the format does not matter.
