Shaunté Ledger

Creative Director at STORYDROPS.

Los Angeles

Hi lovelies! I’m Shaunte. 👋🏽 I lead creative workshops and retreats that help bold, multi-passionate humans unlearn the rules, wake up their weird, and build their own blueprint with glitter pens, grit, and zero apologies. As a Creative Director and tarot storyteller, I show people how to turn their liminal moments into lightning-bolt clarity.

Originally from New York (oh how I miss thunderstorms and pizza by the slice!), I now live in Los Angeles, where I write sToRyDrOpS. A weekly love letter to creativity, tarot, and living your biggest, sparkliest, choke-on-my-stardust kind of life.✨ Being an artist is HARD, and my work is a lighthouse for anyone whose felt lost, lonely, or “too much.” I want every creative to feel seen, safe, and lit up from the inside.

When I’m not deep in the world of paper cuts and possibility, you’ll find me getting my hands dirty in my Monster Garden or curled up with my black cats, while dreaming up the next wild idea.

About this FieldTrip

In this playful 60-minute session, we’ll explore four iconic tarot cards—The Fool, The Magician, The Star, and The Tower—as creative sparks for storytelling, reflection, and new perspectives.

Using a mix of journaling, zine-making, and imaginative prompts, you’ll learn how symbolic archetypes can unlock ideas, shift creative blocks, and reconnect you with your voice. No tarot experience is needed—just curiosity, a notebook, and a sense of adventure.

Whether you’re a writer, designer, artist, or multi-passionate maker, this workshop offers a fresh lens for your creativity and a reminder that every project begins with a leap into the unknown.

Agenda

  • We’ll begin with a introduction to tarot as a creative tool. You’ll meet four iconic cards (The Fool, The Magician, The Star, and The Tower), each offering a different spark for creative exploration.

  • Next, you’ll choose a card that resonates with you to guide your journey. Then we’ll dive into a hands-on creative prompt inspired by your card—whether that’s mapping bold new beginnings, writing a wish for a stranger, or tearing up a limiting belief to make something new.

  • You’ll have time to write, reflect, and make something tangible (like a mini zine or a sketchbook page).

  • We’ll close with a group reflection and optional share-out. You’ll leave with fresh ideas, an esoteric peek into tarot, and a reminder that your next project might need a different ramp to get it off the ground.

What to know or bring

  • A journal, a sketchbook or paper for zine making. Your choice!

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
