Suniko’s Vision

Born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Suniko spent her early adolescence years in Boston where the camera made an entrance. After leaving college, she studied in Singapore and began her career there and Bangkok, then worked in her home country as staff photographer for UB.LIFE/Gereg and as a freelancer in Mongolia. In 2022 she returned to the US as the recipient of the Arnold Newman Scholarship and the Director’s Fellowship from the International Center of Photography, where she graduated in May 2023.
She has had her work published in various publications, including AP, Forbes, The Diplomat, Musee Mag, FotoFilmic, and has been exhibited internationally in Bankok, Paris, and New York.
