Subhashree Parthasarathy

Shuba is a musician, a Kalaripayattu artist and a theatre researcher.
While practising the traditional arts in the structures is extremely important, critically engaging with them is very much essential.
She believes that the body is a recorder and it demands refining one’s life questions at every stage.
She is devising a creative practice, and using the same as choreographic tools for making theatrical performances that stay inclusive, curious, listening and reflective.
She lives with her husband, two kids, in laws and two dogs in Chennai.
