Stephen Hitchcock

Stephen Hitchcock is the executive director of The Haven, a low-barrier day shelter and housing resource center in downtown Charlottesville. He received his MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. He's interested in the overlap between the caregiving encounter and the creative encounter. His writing has appeared in Post Road, Juxtaprose, storySouth, The Midnight Oil, and elsewhere.
