Anxiety and I have what some people might refer to as friends with benefit. There's no love between us, but she still fucks with me sometimes.

There’s a big difference in stepping out onto a stage as someone else – saying someone else’s words – and stepping out onto that stage as yourself, and every word you say is wrapped around your heart.

It’s hard to ask somebody to like your stuff.

We have to remember that our job is to make the art—not to tell people how to feel about the art that we made. We make it, and we move on.

We are never going to please everybody but what we can do is to reveal our art.
