Stacie Pottinger

Orr Street Studios

part of a series on Pain

About the speaker

Born in Monterey, CA, raised in Rolla, MO, and calling COMO home since 1989 (with a short 4 year stint in Washington, DC) Stacie has made a mission out of meeting as many people as possible. With her wife, Linda Vandepopuliere, she ran a home daycare for 10 years, then returned to her first love, photography, and has finally settled on a career as a professional fundraiser for the past 4.5 years.

She is heavily involved in the arts scene of Columbia, having been a resident and director of Orr Street Studios, served on the board of CAL for many years, performed with The Stable Boys improv troupe at Talking Horse Productions as well as several Guerl-Rilla Theater productions, and most recently worked full time at Ragtag Film Society.

Stacie spends her days now at Voluntary Action Center where she is the Chief Development Officer. On Friday mornings, though, you can hear her on 102.3 BXR (8-8:30) and 98.9 KFRU (8:30-9) talking about movies and shows!
