Sivan Bachar

Sivan is a co-owner of Unwind GR, a local yarn store in Grand Rapids, MI. She currently works as an Science Educator for the Grand Rapids Public Museum, as well. She is a fiber artist focusing on knitting and crochet, making wearable objects and wall tapestries. Sivan taught herself how to knit when she was a young teenager for a school project and stuck with it ever since. Knitting and crochet have become Sivan's main art medium, creating intricate color work designs that are inspired by personal experiences and, more recently, her work as a science educator.
