About the speaker
Sneha Pulapaka is a storyteller, founder of the social enterprise The Native Loom, and creative community builder based in Aotearoa. She wears many hats: a mother, a mindful entrepreneur, and a self-care advocate passionate about creating experiences that spark connection, curiosity, and cultural revival.
The Native Loom is a social enterprise founded in 2018 to preserve and reimagine traditional Indian textile arts especially Kalamkari block printing through hands-on workshops, ethical storytelling, and artisan-made products. Our core values are ethical, ecological, and empowering, with a focus on building cultural bridges between Aotearoa and Southern India. Our core ethos highlights the intersectionality between sustainability, mindfulness and textiles art.
