A new visual identity for Haus der Kuturen der Welt
About the speaker
NODE is a Berlin- and Oslo-based design studio founded in 2003 by Anders Hofgaard and Serge Rompza. The Oslo office was established in 2010, in conjunction with Dag Henning Brandsæter and Andreas Rød Skilhagen. The studio works collaboratively across various media for a diverse range of clients from individuals to institutions, focusing on print, identity, exhibition and interactive work. Besides studio projects, NODE gives lectures and holds workshops at art & design academies.
NODE is currently designing the new visual identity and all related media for Haus der Kulturen der Welt (House of the Cultures of the World) in Berlin. As of January 2013, the new identity will transport the core value of the HKW Haus der Kulturen der Welt “rooted cosmopolitanism”.
