About the speaker

** Eléonore's talk will be in English **

Eléonore Pironneau is a French visual artist living in Paris. For the last 30 years she developed her work through painting, photography and writing. She holds an MA in Art from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. Her artworks have been shown in various private galeries, public institutions and international art fairs, including Brafa Art Fair (Brussels), Royal Academy Summer Show (London), Art London and Le Couvent St Césaire (Arles).

She devotes part of her time teaching courses that open the door to art and a deeper understanding of images. She also organises workshops that provide spaces for exploring individual creativity, bringing people on an unexpected journey of self-discovery that reveals inner talent. These projects are tailored to the corporate environment, private groups, schools and higher education establishments under the umbrella Ways of Seeing. Clients include Visa Inc. London, Sofwire-UK, Le Celsa-Paris Sorbonne, l’INSEEC, Sup de Pub, Media School, and King’s College London.

Whether in her artistic work or in her teachings Eleonore’s interest lies in the meaning held by visual form. She is interested in art as language.
The content of her work is poetic and philosophical. She explores intimate feelings and sensations – sometimes tenuous – and find their visual form by experimenting with materials and techniques or by using several artistic languages such as photography and writing.
