Rusha Smith

Rusha Smith is the executive director of Freshwater Land Trust, a Birmingham-based conservation nonprofit. She spearheads fundraising efforts, facilitates conservation and outdoor recreation programs, including Red Rock Trail System, and works with staff and board members to increase the nonprofit’s impact in Alabama. Rusha joined Freshwater Land Trust after practicing law for twenty-five years. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and Cumberland School of Law.
