Renate Boere shared how she turns ideas into impactful designs that enable social and cultural initiatives

About the speaker

Are you ready for an inspiring encounter with a maker who brings together design, research, and storytelling?

Renate is a passionate designer and educator with a sharp eye for social and cultural issues. Since graduating from the KABK, she has been running her own studio in The Hague—a place where ideas flow freely and where she collaborates with partners who share her curiosity and drive. This drive, combined with her ambition to bring unique designs to a wider audience through hybrid publishing, led her to found her own publishing platform: Hybrid Crocodile.

In her talk, Renate will take you through her creative process, her investigative approach, how to initiate your own projects, and how to create impact as a designer (or maker). She will also reflect on the influence of winning numerous national and international awards. Expect a story full of curiosity, courage, and fresh perspectives.
