September 28, 8:30am - 10:00am EDT. Hosted at Fernbank Science Center
part of a series on Chaos
About the speaker
Pouya Dianat is the managing director of Beam Imagination, a creative studio that rethinks the means and methods of storytelling. With roots in the journalism industry, he set out to make a team that unrelentingly pursues creative experimentation in storytelling – from groundbreaking visuals to unexpected experiences to untapped technology for clients that include Delta Air Lines and the Atlanta Braves. Personally and professionally, Pouya’s life has been defined by adapting to constant change – moving from Tehran, Iran to Washington, D.C. at the age of six then watching the internet transform the world around him and seeing visual storytelling develop dramatically over the last decade. Rather than run from the chaos brought on by change, Pouya and the team at Beam run boldly toward it.
