Anya Likhitha

Artist-Strategist, Soft Systems Alchemist at Anya Studios.

Singapore

Henlo~! I’m Anyā, an artist-strategist based in Singapore and the founder of Anya Studios, where I build portals for moving through and becoming.

Through The Bloomhouse, I explore how business itself can be a vessel for care and meaning-making. This is where my work as a soft systems alchemist comes alive, tending to the subtle patterns that shape how we live and create.

At heart of it, I create both objects and ways of moving through. To witness. To open. To play. To care. Each work is an invitation into becoming, held by a trust that wonder and imagination can carry us through collapse and into new ways of being.

I live in sunny Singapore and experience synesthesia (I see sounds and taste colors), which deeply shapes my life. You might find me tending to The Bloomhouse dispatches on Substack, doing my cat Nya’s bidding as human #1, or exploring what it means to build a creative practice rooted in care rather than hustle.

About this FieldTrip

You’ve probably never seen potato chips and muscle training in the same sentence together, unless someone is telling you not to eat chips as you train your (body) muscles.

Yes. You can have your chips and eat it too. In this session, we’re going to get a little silly, park our inhibitions at the Zoom door, and bring our best potato chips to the camera.

Together with the community, we’ll do a series of creative role-playing activities & improvise plots from our favourite stories using potato chips heroes (and villains) who will all tragically fall to their deaths in our bellies at the end.

✹WHAT TO EXPECT

✔ We begin by setting a safe space for embracing silliness. Then we go into a warm up activity together to practice improvising and being silly.

✔ Participants are then split into groups to jam on their skit. Finally each group will take turns performing a small skit as potato chip characters.

✔ This session is beginner friendly - the focus is not on picking up improv skills, but on getting ourselves outside of our comfort zones and giving ourselves permission to be silly.

✔ We invite participants to come join us and play together. We see play as wellness for our creative spirits.

✔ Bring yourself and your favourite bag of potato chips to the session.

This session is right for you if:

📌 If you’ve been stuck in a creative rut and want to find ways to shake it off

📌 If you want to find a safe space to experiment, be silly and exercise your creative muscles at the same time

📌 If you want to join a community of creatives where the creative juices are oozing

📌 If you want to find ways to silence the self-critic that turns up when you sit down to create

📌 You want some down time and have some fun

❀This FieldTrip is Interactive

This FieldTrip is highly interactive and includes Breakout Rooms. If you are not up for engaging, it may not be the right FieldTrip for you!

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And
” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
