part of a series on Curiosity
About the speaker
We’re back and kicking off our 2018 programme with a little something about curiosity with Phyo Thu!
Phyo is the Founder and Creative Director of Fox&Co Design. He has relentless passion for design, photography, and animation which lead him to study Visual Communication Design at Massey University and Multimedia Design at Natcoll Design Technology (now Yoobee School of Design).
Phyo has a long track record working in design and animation – from small production studios and award-winning agencies to VFX companies like Weta Digital. After gaining a great deal of knowledge and experience, he ultimately decided to start his own creative studio that specializes in motion design and animation.
For over two years now, Phyo has been the HFIC (Head Fox In Charge) of Fox&Co Design. The idea behind Fox&Co is to bring like-minded creatives together who strive to inspire, create and delight with visual stories told beyond the ordinary.
Phyo will be sharing with us some thoughts on the different types of curiosities we may experience, and which ones might be worth a little more focus than others, followed by a little bit about using curiosity to fuel your creative practice..
A small team of professionals dedicated to bringing you the best specialty coffee and the best service you can find. We keep your cafe full and your coffee machine running.
Like fresh coffee and buttery toast, BizDojo and Creative Mornings go very well together. Here at BizDojo our number one priority is our hard working coworking community, and we recognise the passion that Creative Mornings has for the community they have also built. We’re stoked to be able to host 2017’s Creative Mornings under the Collider programme, and we look forward to seeing creative Wellingtonians bright and early each month ready to connect, be inspired and drink a good coffee
At antipodes we believe the heroes of the table should be the food and fine wine so we chose a water source that has a mineral fingerprint subtle enough to refresh but not alter the palate. Antipodes is very proud to support CreativeMornings Auckland because everything we do in life requires a creative mind.
ometimes, the best inspiration can happen before 9am. At CreativeMornings, that seems to always be the case. Flying Saucer is hugely passionate about producing inspiring videos and capturing real stories. So when the opportunity arose to film the CreativeMornings talks, it seemed like a match made in heaven. We hope these visual records help to spread the talks far and wide, and also serve as a reminder about the power of engaging video content.
