About the speaker
Ovidiu Șandor is one of the most prolific real-estate entrepreneurs in Romania , CEO of Mulberry Development, which transformed a family heritage into a community heritage. He has studied software at Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, but he loves art, contemporary art in particular, he collects old maps and is interested in social sciences and how technology becomes a link in today's society. Ovidiu has founded and runs the biggest non-commercial contemporary art event in Romania, the bi-annual event Art Encounters, which prepares for the 3rd edition in 2019. In 2018, Ovidiu Șandor has extended is reach in community through an investment in education - British International School of Timișoara, the first local school following the British system in the west part of Romania.
