The design has died and evolved as the humans have!

Omer Masood Qureshi is a Ph.D. in Automotive Design and talks about the psychology of design how it has evolved. He talks about the derivation of patterns and resemblance from nature and human features and how it impacts the emotional state of humans and helps us to connect with the design whether it be a Volkswagen, Coca-Cola Bottle or the McDonalds logo.

About the speaker

Omer works as a specialist somewhere in the mash-up of Art, Engineering and Consumer Psychology. He did his Ph.D. in Automotive Design from Italy in the famed Ferrari MilleChile lab at the Enzo Ferrari Institute of Automotive Design, University of Modena.

Currently, he teaches Product Design, Machine Design, and Design Psychology part-time and runs a one of its kind design and crashworthiness consultancy which, among other things specializes in modern methods of crash investigations.

He also paints and works in the band Sarkash.
