About the speaker
Nikishka is a social entrepreneur and community organizer working at the intersection of finance, equitable development, racial justice and climate action. She is the founder and CEO of The Guild, a social enterprise focused on building community wealth through equitable real estate, entrepreneurship programs, and access to capital for historically marginalized communities. Nikishka has been a fellow with Aspen Institute, RSF Social Finance, Common Future, and New Leaders Council Fellow, with her fellowships focused on building a solidarity economy rooted in racial, social, and environmental justice and regeneration. She was also a 2016 “30 Under 30” Greenbiz leader in sustainability and in 2019, was one of three honoree “changemakers” honored by Janelle Monáe. As mama to an adventurous and energetic toddler, spare time is a foreign concept to Nikishka.
