As an experienced community builder and a member of the founding Singapore team at ticketing platform Peatix, Nicholas Gerard shares his insights on how to nurture the embers of connection.
About the speaker
Nicholas Gerard is a community builder and business development leader with over a decade of experience helping creators, organisers, and brands grow through events.
As part of the founding Singapore team at Peatix — a leading ticketing and event platform across Southeast Asia and Japan — he has worked with hundreds of organisers to grow their audiences, sharpen their go-to-market strategies, and build partnerships that deliver real impact.
Beyond his platform work, Nicholas builds communities from the ground up. He co-founded Type-A Breakfast, a morning productivity meetup, served on the WEB3WED committee, an inclusive Web3 community, and is currently building a University of London Alumni network here in Singapore.
His work sits at the intersection of community-led growth, strategic partnerships, and the simple belief that the only way to receive is to first give.
