About the speaker
Spencer High is a graphic designer, illustrator, avid conservationist and vice president of the Grand Rapids Audubon Club. He is the owner of Querkus Creative where he partners with conservation organizations throughout the state to help create marketing campaigns and educational materials that help connect people with the wonders of the natural communities around them. When he's not in the office, Spencer is usually adventuring in the woods, staring at some birds, or tending to his backyard garden - where he has successfully restored over 120 species of native plants.

Documenting intimate moments has always been an interest of hers; starting with an undergrad thesis as a printmaking and drawing major in 2011. Since then, she has grown a strong liking to the more portable means of capturing a moment, and have been strengthening her photographic skills ever since.
