Nat Cheshire from Cheshire Arctitects, talks about the crusade to revitalise Auckland’s CBD, particularly the Britomart precinct, and of their latest addition to it, Milse.
The word ‘space’ can conjure up a lot of different thoughts to different creative people e.g Personal space, airspace, public space, outer space, cyberspace, and the space bar are just a few takes on this theme. This month the CreativeMornings team has decided upon architectural space and we are ecstastic to have Nat Cheshire from Cheshire Architects.
Nat will present CreativeMornings with the motivations and mechanisms of the Cheshire studio’s latest project, Milse: a back-alley dessert restaurant that conflates old Arabic architecture with digital simulations of parametric math.
